New Price Update for Using Starlink in Ghana

Starlink’s technology operates through a network of low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellites, which deliver faster internet speeds than traditional satellite services, making Starlink a major contender in the global internet market.

By April 2024, the network had expanded to around 5,800 LEO satellites, which effectively transmit signals and can deliver download speeds exceeding 100 Mbps in some regions.

In addition to the subscription fees below, customers will need to buy the required hardware, which starts at over GH₵5,390 currently.

Here’s a summary of the available service plans and their associated costs.

Priority Plan:

For GH₵1,078 per month, this plan offers unlimited standard data along with enhanced features such as public IP access, network priority, and priority support. It’s designed for businesses or users with higher data needs.

Mobile Plan:

Starting at GH₵1,540 per month, this plan caters to remote workers, campers, and businesses that operate in multiple locations. It provides unlimited mobile data within the country, with prices increasing depending on the amount of priority data required.

Standard Plan:

This plan is priced at GH₵770 per month and includes unlimited data, making it an excellent choice for household use.

Mobile Priority Plan:

Targeted at maritime users, emergency responders, and mobile businesses, this plan includes specialized features such as inland and ocean data usage, network priority, and priority support. The cost ranges from GH₵4,428 per month for 50GB of data to GH₵17,710 per month for 1TB of data.
