Today, Apple introduced a revolutionary new iPad Pro featuring a remarkably thin and light design, pushing the boundaries of portability and performance. Offered in silver and space black options, the new iPad Pro comes in two sizes: a spacious 13-inch model and a highly portable 11-inch model. Both sizes boast the world’s most advanced display — an innovative Ultra Retina XDR™ display with cutting-edge OLED technology — delivering an exceptional visual experience. Powering this new iPad Pro is the M4 chip, the latest generation of Apple silicon, delivering significant improvements in performance and capabilities. He emphasized the combination of top-notch displays, exceptional performance driven by the latest M-series chips, and advanced accessories, all packed into a portable design. Ternus highlighted the significant advancements introduced with the new, remarkably thin and light iPad Pro, marking the most substantial update to the iPad Pro lineup. He emphasized the breakthrough Ultra Retina XDR display, the enhanced performance of the M4 chip, impressive AI capabilities, and support for the new Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard, underscoring the uniqueness and capabilities of the new iPad Pro.

Availability and Pricing

Starting today, May 7, customers can order the new iPad Pro featuring the M4 chip on apple.com/store and through the Apple Store app in 29 countries and regions, including the U.S. The devices will be available for purchase in stores starting Wednesday, May 15.

The new iPad Pro is offered in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes, with silver and space black color options, and storage configurations ranging from 256GB to 2TB.

The 11-inch iPad Pro starts at $999 (U.S.) for the Wi-Fi model and $1,199 (U.S.) for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model, while the 13-inch iPad Pro starts at $1,299 (U.S.) for the Wi-Fi model and $1,499 (U.S.) for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. For educational institutions, the 11-inch iPad Pro is available for $899 (U.S.) and the 13-inch iPad Pro for $1,199 (U.S.). This pricing is accessible to current and newly accepted college students, their parents, faculty, staff, and homeschool teachers of all grade levels. The new Apple Pencil Pro, compatible with the new iPad Pro, is priced at $129 (U.S.), or $119 (U.S.) for educational purposes.

The new Magic Keyboard, available in black and white, is also compatible with the new iPad Pro. It is priced at $299 (U.S.) for the 11-inch version and $349 (U.S.) for the 13-inch version. Educational pricing is slightly lower at $279 (U.S.) for the 11-inch and $329 (U.S.) for the 13-inch.
